The ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) has once again awarded KAL CEO and founder Aravinda Korala for his contributions to the advancement of the global ATM industry. He is now a two-time recipient of the Outstanding Service Award (winning in 2014 and 2023).
The award and its significance
ATMIA’s 2023 Outstanding Service Award was presented in Las Vegas as part of the US conference hosted by the association. It is an annual prize recognizing influential leaders in the ATM world – specifically those who drive the industry forward with positivity, technological excellence and measurable success.
In Aravinda Korala’s case, this means transforming global ATM networks through KAL’s powerful multivendor software. Since founding the company in 1989, his career remains dedicated to helping organizations of all sizes reduce costs, improve functionality, innovate and deliver superior customer experiences in the ATM channel.
As of February 2024, Aravinda Korala has been awarded two ATMIA Outstanding Service Awards (2023, 2014) and the 2017 Exceptional Achievement Award.
